These custom portraits are unique pieces of digital art created from the photo of your dog/s. Each custom piece uses our artistic skills with creative colours and effects to create a stunning image of your dog just for you.
Unique Print Your print will be totally unique to you so will vary from the examples and depends on colours of the original photo.
These are individually created based on your specific requirements and please be aware this can take time.

Choosing your photo The photo needs to include the complete face (or with body) of the dog, depending which you’d like in the finished piece.
The photo needs to be a high quality photo that is in focus and not blurry. Pictures from decent smartphone/camera are usually ok. When we receive your photo we’ll let you know how the quality is. If the photo was taken by a professional photographer, we probably won’t be able to use it as copyright usually stays with the photographer.
Aim to choose pictures that have been taken straight on at your dogs level, with their face/body facing directly towards the camera. They don't need to be looking straight forward, but making eye contact with the camera looks great. Colours
Due to differences in screen colour settings, colours may appear different in print than on screen.
How long does it take? We ask that you allow up to 7 days to see the preview as this is a creative process and we won’t rush it but you may get it sooner than this.
If any changes are required please also allow time for this.
Please communicate with us promptly by messenger or email so that we can keep to timescales.
Once you’ve approved the preview, it will take a couple of days to be printed and despatched.
Delivery by Royal Mail is currently being affected slightly so may take a few more days than normal.
Starting the process 1. Please send an email to portraits@dogloverscollection.co.uk or a message onFacebook with some info about what you’d like and we’ll get back to you. As we’re currently working from home (and barely going out!) you’re likely to get a quick response, usually within a few hours during the day.
2. We will start work on your portrait once we receive the photo/s and payment is made. When the preview is ready we’ll email it to you. Please allow 7 days as this is a creative process and we won’t rush it.
3. When you receive the preview you can let us know either; a) You’re happy with it and once you’ve approved it we’ll send to the printing lab to be professionally printed for you b) You would like any amendments made. This is included in the price.
Please note, there are no refunds after you have approved your preview as it takes a substantial amount of time to create this unique piece of art.
Printed on to Professional Papers Because we want your portrait to be of the highest quality, we use a professional printing lab and high quality photographic papers.
